
Barbara Chung is a writer, poet, and naturalist. She is the author of the poetry collection Sunlight and the chapbooks Heart and Merit and Grace. Her poems meditate on the sweetness and mystery of life and how to move lovingly through a world that is often not so.
Along with writing, she has served as a business strategy advisor, is studying to become a lawyer, and tends her garden, a certified wildlife habitat. She is a Certified California Naturalist and advocates for every kind of ecological restoration, from mountainside tree plantings to tiny and mighty container gardens. Her environmental advocacy has been featured in various media outlets including the Los Angeles Times.

Barbara has also held strategic leadership positions in the food, beverage, and wine industries, guiding initiatives such as acquisitions, product innovation, and financial planning.
Barbara holds an A.B. in English from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and is a J.D. candidate at Santa Clara University School of Law. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
